RDRR-Labs Android App Privacy Policy
To the best of our knowledge, the application complies with the privacy and security policies set by the Android Play Store.
The application does NOT collect nor transmit personal or sensitive user data.
Some Android permissions are considered sensitive. The following non-exclusive list explains some usage:
- android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE used to retrieve the phone state, to check if the phone is in the middle of a call and if it is we go silent and don't do the hour chime.
- android.permission.GET_TASKS used to retrieve the list of apps, to detect if Home is running and only update the clock widget when it is.
- android.hardware.telephony feature used by the READ_PHONE_STATE. Optional. If there's no telephony (e.g. TV), we don't have to go silent during calls.
- Firebase Analytics:
Depending on its version, the application may use "Firebase Analytics" and "Firebase Crashlytics" to collect usage information and crash reports.
